Optics

Introduction

Light is the portion of electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye.
Optics is the branch of physics which involves the behavior and properties of light and
interactions of light with matter such as illumination, reflection, refraction, interference, diffraction, polarization, etc.

Optics has also many engineering applications such as the construction of instruments to use and detect the light.
So, this is one of the most important course for Scientific and Engineering students, in all Universities.

The course introduces the student to the Optics at a basic and intermediate level (see content).

This course is for Engineering of Physics students at University of Gaziantep.
